We are delighted to welcome you as a member of ELL community. The Department supports our fresh undergraduates in their discovery, learning, and skills development, both on and off-campus.

The first year of university is one of the most pivotal years of your educational journey. It is a year that might shape your self and future permanently. It is our mission to improve the quality of your education by developing essential skills, knowledge, and values through learning, research, and teaching.

Our undergraduate program continues to thrive. Our undergraduate students can select from a diverse collection of English literature courses reflecting both traditional courses in the discipline, but also the growing realisation of “Global English.” Undergraduate students have several opportunities to discuss 21^st century topics such as human rights, climate change, gender studies in English literature.
