A comprehensive Orientation Program was organized to guide our newly admitted students in adapting to university life and to introduce them to our academic staff.
The opening address of the program was delivered by our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Efkan Uzun. In his speech, Dean Prof. Dr. Uzun conveyed his best wishes for success to the new students and shared the faculty’s vision, the academic opportunities it offers, and what is expected of the students.
Following this, our Associate Deans, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vural and Dr. Muhammet Berat Can, each delivered a speech, covering the essential details students need to know regarding administrative processes, faculty operations, and campus life.
During the academic and cultural segment of the program, Lecturer Dr. Furkan Yüksel gave a presentation on Sahn-ı Seman, a time-honored tradition.
One of the most engaging parts of the event was the alumni reunion. Our alumna, Sümeyye Güler, took the stage and, in a sincere and heartfelt manner, shared her experiences from her student years, her career journey, and the lessons she has learned since graduating with our new students.
During the program, questions from our students regarding the faculty, course registration, transcripts, and similar processes were answered, clearing up any uncertainties.
We wish all our students and our academic and administrative staff a productive and successful new academic year!
