Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Takes a Strong Step in Local Collaborations

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, in line with its vision of integrating with the city, has signed new collaborations with important institutions and organizations. The university aims to contribute to regional development by signing various protocols in areas including agriculture, chemistry, culture, tourism, and women's entrepreneurship.

In this context, protocols were signed with AGRONAR Chemical Agricultural Products Trade and Industry Limited Company, Hüdavent Hatun Women's Cooperative, Niğde Friendship Association, Niğde Province Breeding Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, and Niğde Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.

As part of these protocols, AGRONAR Chemical Agricultural Products Trade and Industry Ltd. Inter-institutional collaborations have been established with the university-private sector collaboration in production, student internship opportunities, and employment; with the Hüdavent Hatun Women's Cooperative in scientific infrastructure, consultancy, training, and production; with the Niğde Friendship Association in student projects, cultural events, and youth activities; and with the Niğde Province Breeding Sheep and Goat Breeders Association in application fields and field research for animal production activities.

In his speech at the signing ceremony, the Rector of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University stated, “Our university is not only an educational institution but also a center working for the development of the region. Thanks to these bridges we have built with local dynamics, we will provide greater benefits to society.”

These protocols aim to create a multifaceted synergy that will benefit both students and the local community.
