A meaningful event was held bringing together our current students with our esteemed alumnus, Adem KÜREN, who graduated from our Mechanical Engineering Program and transferred to the Faculty of Engineering via the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam).

Our alumnus, who graduated from Bor Vocational School's Mechanical Engineering Program and then successfully enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University via the DGS, currently works as a Mechanical Engineer at Abalıoğlu Lezita Gıda Sanayi A.Ş., located in the Niğde Bor Organized Industrial Zone.

At the event held on March 30, 2026, our alumnus met with our students and provided comprehensive information about the process of transferring to engineering faculties via the DGS. He also shared his academic and social achievements during his engineering education, the necessities of university life, and the challenges that may be encountered during this process in a sincere manner.

Furthermore, he shared his experiences in the private sector after graduation, offering guidance to our students on preparing for professional life, career planning, and professional development. Our alumnus, who sincerely answered our students' questions, contributed to an inspiring and productive meeting by sharing examples from her own career journey.
